Welcome to Fourth Grade!
A little snippet of information about me. I have been in education for over twenty years. I have worked in Spartanburg School District One for nineteen of those years. Prior to teaching fourth grade, I taught the academically gifted program for fifteen years. I have had the privilege of working at many of the elementary schools in District One, where I was able to work with some of the best teachers anywhere. I look forward to using my knowledge to learn with your child this year in fourth grade!
When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I recently became a "Grandmommy" for the first time. I have a beautiful granddaughter who was born in July 2015, I also enjoy riding on my husband's motorcycle as we take scenic and adventurous trips. Another way I spend time is chasing my thirteen year old weimaraner dog. Reading, gardening, and listening to music are other interests of mine.
I look forward to learning about the interests, hobbies and learning styles of my students as we conquer the curriculum of fourth grade.
