O.P. Earle
All About Me...

Hello. My name is Angie Hatchette and I teach academic enrichment at O.P. Earle. My goal as a special educator is to address each of my students individual academic needs through small group instruction that supports learning in the general education classroom.

I began my teaching career in 1997 at O.P. Earle and have remained at OPE with the exception of four years teaching at Campobello-Gramling School from 2001 to 2005. I love every aspect of teaching from planning, learning new strategies for teaching, and especially spending time with children.

I graduated from Wofford College in 1993 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Sociology. After spending several years working at the South Carolina Department of Social Services, I discovered that education was the key in improving our future and the future of our children. I received a Master's of Education from Converse College in 1997 and began my teaching career in Spartanburg District One. Over the years, I have come to realize that I am truly blessed to have a career I look forward to each and every day.

I have been married to my husband, Tim, for 24 years and we have three daughters, Anna Grace, Ellie, and Millie, four cats, and two dogs. When I am not at school, I enjoy spending time with my girls, reading, and being outside.

Please contact me if you have any questions or concerns about your child’s progress or would like to review any part of their individualized education plan.
