 Mabry Middle School

Our Mission - The mission of TE Mabry Middle School is to do the right thing for every child each and every day.

Our Vision -

Spartanburg School District One

MISSION…

Our mission is to provide a quality, student-centered education.

VISION…

We envision a district where:

  • The focus is student-centered education.
  • Education prepares all students to become productive and responsible citizens.
  • Students, faculty, and staff strive to “Become Their Best” in all aspects of the school.
  • Students graduate from our schools with a planned path for success.

BELIEFS …

In Spartanburg School District One, we believe:

  • Student achievement is our priority.
  • Education prepares all students for life.
  • All students can learn when provided the appropriate learning opportunities.
  • Our schools strive to foster cooperation between the home, the school, and the community.
  • Attractive and clean schools provide a safe and productive learning environment.
  • Parental and community involvement and support are crucial to the learning process.

GOALS…

Student Achievement

  • We will achieve high academic success for all students.
  • We will strengthen the instructional programs of the elementary, middle, and high schools.
Our vision for Mabry is that of a school that continually strives to develop the whole child and takes into account a balance of intellectual, physical, and social growth. We see a school where students enter classrooms and expect to receive high quality instruction based on data driven decisions and proven research. The classrooms have established procedures and routines and create an atmosphere for learning and growth. As a result of this atmosphere, teachers are able to teach with minimal distractions, and the instruction takes place with a sense of urgency and rigor. The teachers continually search for new ways to present material and are not afraid to look into the mirror of their teaching. They embrace change and view it as a challenge. We see students that grow into young men and women who want to be accountable for their education and prepare themselves for high school. By taking ownership of their learning, they begin to look ahead at different careers and the many possibilities for the future.
