Home Economics

The primary purpose of the Consumer and Homemaking Education courses is to prepare students for life. Everyone is or will be a family member and homemaker. Consumer and Homemaking training helps everyone improve the quality of his/her individual family and community life. Skills gained in home economics courses are lasting skills; many may be cultivated into marketable ventures for a career or a business. Programs are designed to help both young men and women prepare for their dual roles of homemakers/wage earners.
