Mr. Fusaro brings optimism and positivity to his every effort. To quote Mr. Mark Hodge who nominated him, “His energy and enthusiasm are infectious and he has been a true blessing to work with.”

Kegan Flynn
Coach Flynn is a wonderful teacher. This past summer he spent numerous hours in his classroom getting it ready for his kids. Also he is always willing to take on any of the students given to him. He is always willing to work to make sure the kids are understanding the material. He has changed his teaching style and methods over the past year to accomplish this. He has worked hard to transfer his classroom in to centers, and to adopt better strategies. He is a passionate teacher, and I know he inspires his kids to learn every day.

Allsion Mathis

Allison is dependable, hardworking, and efficient in her role at Chapman. Her role involves but is far from limited to defined duties. She is willing to help teachers and students with various projects. She takes the time to look below the surface need to make sure she focuses all her attention until the task is done.

Kelsi Pack

Mrs. Pack always has a smile on her face and she demonstrates caring and consideration for everyone. At the beginning of school Mrs. Pack stayed for morning duty although it was not her duty week and she only had to be there for the first two days. She took time out of her busy schedule to cook delicious Cajun food to help raise money for a field trip to reward ROADS students who pass both sections of the HSAP on the first try. She works hard as a basketball coach, but still stays focused as a science teacher.

Dennis Brown

To go through what he has been through this past year, and yet he still has the desire to see these kids do well, he is an amazing person. I know it could not have been anything other than difficult for him this year. I know a lot of people have prayed for him (this just proves prayer works). The kids I have had in ISS and that have him as a teacher - like him and they do his work that he assigns, which tells me all I need to know about him. I have seen him work with the kids at CCG during baseball season and now at Chapman, he has their respect and they work hard for him.
Mr. / Coach Brown spends 80% of his time giving back to the kids at Chapman and it shows with the respect he gets back from the students he comes in contact with every day. That is why I would like to nominate Mr. Dennis Brown for the ABCD award.
