WINTERGUARD PLACES THIRD AT CIPA CHAMPIONSHIPS

Congratulations to the CHS Winterguard for their 3rd place finish at the CIPA Championships at Western Carolina University on March 31st. On the season, the CHS winterguard placed 1st at the Dorman competition in the Novice class. They were promoted up a class in SRA, where they placed 2nd at the Blue Ridge competition. They were promoted again and placed 4th in the SAA class at the Brynes competition. The Carolina Indoor Performance Associations is comprised of units from South Carolina, North Carolina, East Tennessee, and Southwest Virginia. Congraulations to Ms. Cantrell on a wonderful and very successful season. Also, many thanks to Shalicia Rice for helping with the guard, and for Shanna Hopkins for serving as the winterguard sponsor.

ATTENTION SENIORS

FROM CCU:

Spirit Saturday will return to Brooks Stadium during the 2012 season opener on September 1. High school band members can join us on the field, along with dancers (ages 13-18) and twirlers (ages 6-18) for a spectacular combined show. Participants will join the Spirit of the Chanticleer Marching Band for a rehearsal prior to the game, and get free admission to the event. Please download the forms and send them in TODAY!!! CONCERT BAND FESTIVAL RESULTS
