The CHS Athletic Booster Club has many new goals, missions, ideas, projects, etc. lined up for the future!
WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF THE BOOSTER CLUB?
The purpose of the Booster Club of Chapman High School is to help support the athletic endeavors of the Chapman High School student body through fan support and financial backing. In addition to providing several scholarships each yea, the Booster Cub also helps fund athletic banquets, and assists with various other financial needs of the athletes. The Booster Club strives to promote our many talented athletes through positive school and community recognition.
WHO CAN JOIN THE BOOSTER CLUB?
The Booster Club is made up of parents, siblings, grandparents, coaches, teachers, and others throughout the community.
WHY SHOULD I JOIN THE BOOSTER CLUB?
The Athletic Booster Club has a goal to involve as many coaches, parents, and volunteers as possible to assist in supporting our athletes and school in positive ways. With your help and the help of others throughout the community, Chapman athletics will excel as never before.
HOW IS THE BOOSTER CLUB FUNDED?
The Booster Club is funded through membership dues, donations from individuals and businesses, and through fundraising activities.
HOW DO I JOIN AND WHAT DOES IT COST?
At the present time, Athletic Booster Club membership is $5 per individual, $10 per family, and $25 for businesses. You can join by contacting any of the Athletic Booster Club officers, or you can sign up at the Booster Club booth during registration, open house, home football games, or other special events. You can also welcome to join at any Athletic Booster Club meeting.
IF I JOIN, WHAT DO I HAVE TO DO?
Once you pay your membership fee, it will be up to you to decide how much and what level you wish to be involved. Athletic Booster Club meetings are normally held at 7 p.m. on the first MONDAY of each month at the school. We welcome your ideas, attendance to meetings, and your vote in decision-making. You are invited to become involved in fundraising activities through volunteering as well. It is not a requirement of membership to participate in any way, although your ideas and efforts are sure to make a difference.
