District One Schools is proud of its rich history. We are glad to share what we have been able to gather and hope to add more. We encourage you to look around to view pictures of facilities, school and local newspaper articles, and more about our history.

Our history project began with information from the South Carolina Department of Archives and History. We were able to gather pictures of facilities including schools, teacherages, and other facilities. Also, members and friends of the District One community provided pictures and other information.
