Mission Mars Challenge

Lego League

The pictures show the students completing the missions for the Mission Mars Challenge.  Points were awarded to each team as their rovers completed the various missions.  The teams also had to complete a research assignment.  Based on the total points earned from the missions and the presentations, one team from the 3rd period class and one team from the 4th period class will represent Landrum Jr High at the state lego league tournament in Columbia on January 17, 2004.

The students were able to complete the Mission Mars Challenge through a grant from the Polk County Community Foundation.
