Welcome Pathfinders !!

Get to know your Pathfinder Teachers

Mrs. McBride is our team  leader.  She is the science teacher for the Pathfinder Team.  She has a masters + 30 hours from Clemson University and has enjoyed teaching Maby students for 25 years. She and her husband, Cliff  McBride, have 2 children.  Their daughter is a senior at Chapman and their son is a police officer for the town of Cowpens.  Her hobbies  include cooking, reading, and walking.

Mr Turner, a husband and father of three, worked for sixteen years as a computer  programer prior to entering  the teaching profession. He is the math teacher for the Pathfinder team.  He   enjoys music, being a   handyman, and spending time with his family.

My name is Julia Pressley, the Pathfinder ELA teacher.  I have a Masters + 30.  This is my seventh year at Mabry and twenty-fourth year  teaching.  Since I am an avid reader, my subject matter is a delight for me to teach, and I revel in watching our students develop a love for  literature and writing.  I am married  and have three children ranging from a first grader to a freshman in college, with an eighth grader in between!  At home, we are owners of three cats, one dog, a hamster, and a fish.  In addition to reading in my spare moments, I enjoy spending time with my family, experimenting with photography, and being an active part of Inman First Baptist Church.

Mr. Collins is the History teacher for the Pathfinder team.  He is also the head football coach, wrestling coach, and baseball coach.  He has a masters degree and   has been teaching at   Mabry for six years.  He naturally enjoys all sports and spending quality time with his new wife, Erin Collins, who also teaches at Mabry.
