EXCEL

The EXCEL program provides a program for those students that are identified as demonstrating high performance ability in academic areas. These students are provided opportunities to go beyond what is normally provided by the general school program to achieve their potential. South Carolina has developed a statewide system for identifying academically gifted/talented students. New Prospect serves students in the third, fourth, fifth, and sixth grade that qualify using state criteria.
