Temporary Transition to E-Learning Days

Several of our schools have reached a critical point where we are concerned about our ability to provide a safe learning environment for students due to the high percentage of staff members required to isolate or quarantine due to COVID-19 exposure. Additionally, we are experiencing a large increase of student absences districtwide.

While we have and will continue to make every effort to maintain in-person instruction, the supervision and safety of our students has to be our top priority. As a result, all Spartanburg One schools will temporarily transition to e-learning instruction for Thursday, January 13th and Friday, January 14, 2022.  All schools will be closed on Monday, January 17, 2022,  in observance of the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr, holiday. All schools will resume normal, in-person instruction on Tuesday, January 18, 2022.

Please know that this decision to temporarily transition to e-learning was not made lightly and that we are doing everything in our power to be able to provide a safe and healthy learning environment for all students and staff. Thank you for your understanding as we work to make decisions that are in the best interest of our students, staff, and community.
