Matt Davis Incoming CHS Principal

Spartanburg School District One announced Mr. Matt Davis as the incoming Principal of Chapman High School.  Mr. Davis will be replacing Dr. Andrew McMillan who will be the Principal at Spartanburg High School.  

Mr. Davis is currently the Assistant Principal of Chapman High School and has been employed with Spartanburg One for five years. Prior to coming to Spartanburg One, he was an Assistant Principal at Broome and Cowpens Middle School and a Principal at Cowpens Middle School. He also has teaching experience at Chapman, Broome, and Spartanburg High School. 

Mr. Davis holds a BS from USC-Upstate, a Master’s in Administration Supervision from Converse College, and an Education Specialist in Educational Administration degree from USC.  Mr. Davis and his wife Leigh reside in Boiling Springs, SC with their children Matthew, John Paul, and Sarah Grace.
