Hatchette Girls Basketball Coach

Mr. Wesley Hatchette will be leading the Varsity Girls Basketball Program at Chapman High School as the Head Coach for the 23-24 school year.  With a coaching background, including his tenure as the JV Head Basketball Coach for Landrum, Hatchette accepts the challenge of leading the varsity team to new heights.

Taking on the role of Head Varsity Girls Basketball Coach at Chapman High School marks an exciting new chapter in Hatchette's coaching career. He is eager to build upon the strong foundation of the program and work closely with the student-athletes to foster their growth both on and off the court. Hatchette expressed his excitement, stating, "I am honored to be the Head Girls Basketball Coach at Chapman High School. I look forward to working with the dedicated athletes and the supportive coaching staff. Together, we will strive to achieve greatness and make our mark in AAA basketball."

His experience and dedication to the sport, coupled with his strong leadership qualities, make him a great fit for our program.”

Hatchette has been with the Cardinals as the Head JV Coach and Assistant Varsity Basketball Coach for Landrum High School since 2022. He started his coaching career in 2017 at Eastside High School in Taylors, SC.  While at Eastside, he led the C-Team and Junior Varsity Basketball and assisted with the varsity basketball. Hatchette graduated from Blue Ridge High School in 2014 and the University of South Carolina Upstate in 2022.
