The Spartanburg One Board of Trustees has named Mr. David Kirkland as the assistant principal of Landrum Middle School. Mr. Kirkland was a social studies teacher at Landrum High School. He has been employed with Spartanburg One for ten out of his fourteen years in education. Mr. Kirkland has also been a coach in the past and most recently assisted Landrum Middle School with administrative duties.
“I am incredibly grateful and excited that Mr. Kirkland will be joining Landrum Middle School as Assistant Principal. He is a long-standing and respected member of the Landrum community,” says Landrum Middle School Principal Dr. Amy Walker. “I believe his experience and passion for education will greatly benefit our students, teachers, and community.”
