Glassy

At Inman Elementary School, celebrating student success—both big and small—is part of what makes our school community so special. This year, our Happy Mail tradition received an exciting upgrade with the addition of a brand-new Book Vending Machine! 📚✨

Through Happy Mail 💌😊, teachers and staff recognize students for their outstanding behavior, effort, and kindness. In addition to receiving a personalized delivery, honorees now earn a special token that can be used to select a book from the vending machine—encouraging a love of reading while celebrating positive choices.

This exciting addition was made possible through a generous grant funded by our Glassy Community Outreach partners, whose continued support means so much to our staff and students. To commemorate the installation, Assistant Principal Holly Switzer and Instructional Coach Courtney Smith hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony to officially open the Book Vending Machine.

In attendance were several special guests, including members of the Glassy Resident Outreach team and District Office leaders Dr. Smith, Mrs. Erika Center, Mrs. Amber Pitts, and Mrs. Jada Tessnier, who joined in celebrating this milestone moment for our school.

We are so proud of our students and grateful to our partners for helping us make learning both meaningful and fun. Stay tuned for more Happy Mail celebrations on our social medias throughout the year as we continue to highlight the amazing students who make Inman Elementary the BEST place to be! ❤️🦅
