During the week of September 11, 2023, Inman Intermediate School celebrated DOT day. International DOT day is an invitation for all people to be creative. The celebration begins with reading the book, The DOT by Peter H. Reynolds. The main character is a girl named Vashti who does not believe she can be creative. At the end of the book, Vashti realizes that she can be creative when she has self-confidence. IIS students showed their creativity through classroom activities themed around DOT day. IIS enjoyed celebrating DOT day.
