“See You at the Pole” has been a tradition for 30 years. This year we gathered on Wednesday, September 27th, 2023.
Mrs. Boyce, Mrs. Lamb, Mrs. Mills, and Mr. Mills run “See you at the Pole” every year. “See you at the Pole” allows kids 9 through 12 to learn more about God. “See you at the Pole” is at the flagpole in front of the office at 7:15 A.M. Mr. Mills also reads from the Bible. He reads out verses like John 3:16. We get in small groups and pray and talk about God. The News Crew takes pictures of “See you at the Pole” and puts them on the WIIS News Show. They also give out one free donut to every person that visits. We hang out for the first few minutes then we get together in a big group with everyone.
The entire event lasts about 30 minutes long. See you at the Pole is one of many of our fun things we do at IIS.
