Each morning during announcements, Inman Intermediate School students recite the following school mantra adapted from the late Dr. Rita Pierson:
“I am somebody. I was somebody when I came, and I’ll be a better somebody when I leave. I am powerful and I am strong. I deserve the education that I get here. I have things to do, people to impress, and places to go. If you believe in this mantra, and you believe that you are somebody, say YEAH!”
Pretty powerful, huh? Watch her TED Talk to get all the feels ❤️. https://bit.ly/tedtalkrp
We will recognize our mantra readers throughout the year right here... stay tuned! 🥳 #MUSTANGPRIDE #iamsomebody #WeareOne
