The Landrum High School Boys Cross Country program reached a major milestone this week as the varsity team finished runner-up, marking the highest boys county finish in school history.

The Cardinals were powered by standout performances from Jayden Phillips, Fate Hall, and Dalton Horton, all of whom placed in the top 10 to earn All-County honors. Their strong finishes helped solidify Landrum’s historic team result and showcased the rising strength of the boys program.

In the JV division, the boys continued their success with another runner-up team finish. Titan Bright led the way with an impressive 2nd-place overall finish, while Zach Zipperer also delivered a top-tier performance, placing 7th. Both runners earned top-10 individual finishes, giving the JV squad the momentum needed for their podium finish.

This year’s county championships mark a breakthrough moment for Landrum Boys Cross Country as both varsity and JV teams continue to raise the bar and set new program standards.
