LANDRUM, S.C. — Despite a challenging season on the field, the Landrum Cardinals football program is celebrating some standout individual achievements. Seniors and underclassmen alike demonstrated exceptional skill, hard work, and dedication, earning recognition across the region.
Cooper Tidwell, JT Gist, Bobby Evette, and Trey Nesbit were named All-Region for their performances this season, highlighting the talent and perseverance present on the Cardinals’ roster.
Cooper Tidwell, a senior, has been a cornerstone of the team, providing leadership and consistency on both offense and defense. His contributions were instrumental in keeping the team competitive throughout the season.
JT Gist, a junior defensive and offensive lineman, led the team in sacks this season, recording 2.0 sacks and 3 quarterback hurries. His presence on the defensive line disrupted opposing offenses and made him a key player for the Cardinals. On defense, Gist led the Cardinals with 2.0 sacks for the season. MaxPreps.com

Bobby Evette, a sophomore on the offensive and defensive lines, earned All-Region recognition for his strong performance in the trenches. His work ethic and consistency have made him an essential part of the team’s lineup.
Trey Nesbit, another sophomore, contributed on both offense and defense, ranking second on the team in receiving yards per game and recording a passing touchdown.
