Music, dedication, and Cardinal pride were on full display this morning as Landrum High School’s Brass Quintet and the Cardinal Pride Drumline were featured on WSPA 7News. The talented group delivered an impressive performance that showcased not only their musical skill but also the hard work and unity behind the program.
A huge congratulations goes to Mr. Nix, whose leadership, passion, and countless hours of preparation continue to elevate the LHS band program. His commitment to students is evident in moments like this when their talent receives the recognition it deserves.
The featured students include: Edington, John; George, Dane; Bergstrom, Reece; Kennedy, Payton; Reilly, Dylan; Jolley, Eva; Mills, Ari; Davis, Dylan; and Castuaro, Rhylinn. Each brought energy and excellence to the morning segment, making the Landrum community proud.
The excitement doesn’t stop here. The Drumline has several fun sporting events planned this season, including performances at a Swamp Rabbits hockey game and a Charlotte Hornets game, giving students even more opportunities to represent Landrum on big stages.
Congratulations again to Mr. Nix and all participating students for continuing to show what Cardinal Pride truly means!
