The Landrum High School Lady Cardinals continued their impressive run on the hardwood with a hard-fought 69–61 victory over 5A Spartanburg High School, showcasing their resilience and determination. Competing as a 2A program, Landrum rose to the challenge and captured the Girls Battle at the Border championship in style over 5A Spartanburg High School.
From the opening tip, the Lady Cardinals set the tone with relentless energy, disciplined defense, and unselfish ball movement. Facing a tough Spartanburg squad, Landrum showcased poise and resilience, responding to every challenge with confidence and determination.
The game remained competitive throughout, but Landrum’s teamwork and composure down the stretch proved to be the difference. Key stops on defense and timely scoring allowed the Lady Cardinals to pull ahead late, sealing the win and extending their winning streak to five games.
This victory is a testament to the team’s chemistry, work ethic, and heart. Every player contributed, whether through scoring, rebounding, defensive pressure, or leadership on the court.
