The Girls Varsity Basketball Team delivered an impressive performance this past Saturday, defeating Saluda with a final score of 54–42. With strong defense, disciplined ball movement, and consistent scoring throughout the game, the Cardinals secured a decisive victory and kept their playoff hopes alive.
From the opening tip-off, the team set the tone with high energy and teamwork. Key defensive stops and clutch baskets helped maintain the lead, while composure in the second half ensured the win was never in doubt. The Cardinals’ effort on both ends of the court showcased their determination and preparation heading into postseason play.
With this victory, the Girls advance to Round 3 of the playoffs. They will travel to Clinton on Tuesday, February 24th, with tip-off scheduled for 6:00 p.m.
