This past weekend, Landrum High School proudly celebrated a major musical achievement as student Maegan Lennon participated in the prestigious All-State Orchestra event held at Furman University in Greenville, South Carolina.

Maegan was the only string orchestra student from District One selected to perform in this year’s All-State Orchestra, an honor that highlights her exceptional talent, dedication, and hard work. She attended the event alongside her director, representing both Landrum High School and the greater District One community.

The South Carolina All-State Orchestra brings together the top high school musicians from across the state. Students must successfully complete a rigorous audition process to earn a spot in the ensemble. Throughout the weekend, participants engaged in intensive rehearsals under the direction of distinguished conductors before presenting a final performance.

Maegan’s accomplishment reflects not only her personal commitment to excellence but also the strength of the music program at Landrum High School. Being selected as the sole representative from District One’s string orchestra program is a remarkable achievement and a moment of pride for the school and community.

Landrum High School congratulates Maegan Lennon on this outstanding accomplishment and looks forward to her continued success in music.
