The Landrum Cardinals girls basketball team punched their ticket to the Upper State playoffs Tuesday evening, Feb. 24, 2026, with a 63–37 victory over Clinton High School in the SCHSL Class AA playoffs.

From the opening tip, the Cardinals set the pace, using sharp offense and disciplined defense to pull away early. Their strong teamwork and relentless pressure on both ends of the floor kept the Red Devils from mounting a comeback.

With their strong showing, the Cardinals earned a spot in the next round and will face Andrew Jackson High School.

The matchup is set for Saturday, Feb. 28, at 3:00 p.m. at Clover High School. Fans are encouraged to come out and support the team as they continue their quest for a state championship.

From the start of the game against Clinton, the Cardinals displayed sharp offense and tenacious defense, pulling away early and maintaining control throughout. Their teamwork and focus will be key as they prepare for the Upper State challenge against Andrew Jackson.
