Interact Club is a service club that volunteers their time and service in our school, community and even world. At school, we like to provide both students and staff special appreciations throughout the year to show our service and thankfulness to them. We regularly volunteer our time and help at local organizations such as Miracle League Baseball, Carolina Pregnancy Center, Operation Christmas Child, PS I Love You, local nursing homes, and more. And, we also enjoy helping out and volunteering with national organizations such as Rise Against Hunger and Samaritan's Purse, March of Dimes and others.

Today is National Custodian Appreciation Day! We are so grateful for our Custodial Staff who work tirelessly to ensure that our school is always clean and ready for students and staff!

The LHS JROTC Veteran's Day Program will be on November 8, 2023. Our guest speaker is Army veteran CPL Kevin Brewington.
On Thursday, October 5 students from the UCS Upstate School of Nursing will be at LHS to perform hearing screenings for all 10th graders. Screenings will take place during first and second block.
This testing is optional and students were given a waiver last week to take home if they do NOT want to participate in the screening. If you do not want your student to participate in the screening, please turn in this form.

The college fair will be held at the USC Upstate Health Education Complex on Tuesday, September 19th from 6:00-7:30PM.
ADMISSION IS FREE!
Permission and health forms were distributed today for the 9th Grade trip to the Swofford Career Center and Master Skills Center. The form must be completed on the front and back, and returned to Guidance by Friday, September 8th. The field trip is Thursday, September 14th.
