The college fair will be held at the USC Upstate Health Education Complex on Tuesday, September 19th from 6:00-7:30PM.

Permission and health forms were distributed today for the 9th Grade trip to the Swofford Career Center and Master Skills Center. The form must be completed on the front and back, and returned to Guidance by Friday, September 8th. The field trip is Thursday, September 14th.

Help support our Career Development program and promote trade professions by dropping off a new t-shirt with your business/trade name and logo. A LHS staff member will wear your shirt and facilitate career discussions with students while you get free adverstising!

9th-11th Graders - School pictures are Tuesday, September 5th! No need to pre-order; just look your best on picture day. If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Atkins.
12th Graders - Senior portraits are Wednesday, September 6th, and Thursday, September 7th! Please be sure to register for an appointment by next Friday, September 1, at the link Mrs. Atkins emailed you. Open House at LHS will be tonight (August 17, 2023) from 6pm to 7pm. Parents are invited to walk through their student's schedule to meet the teachers and learn more about their classes.
There will also be a meeting for the upcoming European Studies trip to Spain and Portugal immediately after Open House. Students who are interested in going on the trip should report to the cafeteria at 7pm with their parents. The Spain/Portugal trip is for current Juniors and Sophomores and will take place during the Spring of 2025.
Are you interested in being part of the LHS Theatre program? Join us to audition for this year's fall production of Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare.
Auditions will be Thursday, August 17 at 3:35 pm in the Theatre Classroom (509).

Any student who plans to drive and park on campus for the 1st time must have completed the Alert & Alive Permit Pass Class, or show enrollment in a fall class. This is required by the district for all new student drivers who drive and park on campus. ⚠️🚘
