In an effort to boost student engagement and strengthen preparation for the upcoming winter i-Ready assessments in December, Mabry Middle School has launched its first-ever i-Ready Growth Quest: Pizza and Power Break Challenge.
This exciting initiative encourages students in all Math and English classes to complete at least two i-Ready lessons each week. The challenge aims to help students sharpen their skills while building consistency and ownership in their learning.
To make things even more motivating, a little friendly competition is in play! The class with the highest percentage of lessons passed at the end of October will earn a well-deserved Pizza Party and Power Break (recess)—a fun way to celebrate hard work and growth.
In the event of a tie, the deciding factor will come down to student attendance for the month, emphasizing the importance of showing up and staying engaged every day.
Mabry Middle’s instructional team hopes this challenge will not only prepare students for success on their winter assessments but also promote a sense of teamwork, perseverance, and pride in academic progress.
Let the Quest begin—Go Cubs! 🐾🍕💪
