We are proud to announce that Mrs. Jeanne Harris has been selected as our Teacher of the Year for 2025-2026. Mrs. Harris serves as our Media Specialist. She creates a welcoming environment for students and staff, matching students to just right books and cultivating a love of reading. She teaches all students Media Arts in our Academic Arts Rotation. Mrs. Harris also teaches our 6th grade Claws and Paws News Team, teaching those students production, anchoring, and editing skills. Additionally, she curates our Literacy Magazine. This is a massive undertaking as she sorts through work from all students to select pieces with strong voice and character to add to Prospects. We are grateful for the role Mrs. Harris plays in engaging our students and community. Her passion for literacy is evident in all she does.
