The Landrum High School Cardinal Pride Marching Band earned 2nd place in its division at the Boiling Springs Tournament of Bands! This strong finish came as the band presented only Part 1 of this year’s production, showing focus and determination on the field. 🎙️ Exciting visit from Aaron Pridmore to Mr. Millwood's Journalism Club! Aaron is the creator of The SLIDE Podcast, spotlighting youth baseball and softball, with over 170 episodes—including co-host USA Olympic pitcher and UCLA national champion Rachel Garcia. He also manages youth tournaments for the Savannah Bananas. Aaron is just the first of many inspiring guests who will share their journalism career journeys with our students. The club also got to FaceTime with Vincent Chapman, the dancing umpire with the Savannah Bananas.🍌⚾️✨
