Our Fall Semi-formal will be here before you know it! A few announcements and reminders concerning this dance:
1) Admission is $10. Jr. Beta members will collect money during lunches the week prior. Beta students, see Mrs. Moore to sign up for this duty if you are interested.
2) Concessions will also be available for purchase at the dance. This is a fund-raiser for our Jr. Beta Club.
3) LMS students only! Students from other schools cannot attend.
4) It is a semi-formal dance but semi-formal attire is not required to attend. If you have questions about your dress, please ask Dr. Walker or show her a picture.
5) Drop-off and pick-up for the dance are in our car rider line at the back of the school. Doors will open at 6:00. Only designated Beta members working concessions will be allowed early entrance. Parents, please be in line by 8:00 for pickup.

This week at LMS: There is no school on Monday or Tuesday. Basketball tryouts begin Wednesday. Boys will try out Wednesday through Friday from 3:15 - 5:00 pm. Girls will try out Wednesday and Thursday from 5:15-7:00 pm. 🏀 Have a great long weekend!

Basketball tryouts are coming up soon! Students must in the 7th or 8th grades to try out and must have a sports physical on file with Coach Searcy for the 2024-2025 academic year. Boys will try out from 3:15 until 5:00 pm on Wednesday, Nov. 6, Thursday, Nov. 7, and Friday, Nov. 8. Girls will try out from 5:15 until 7:00 pm on Wednesday, Nov. 6, and Thursday, Nov. 7. This week at LMS: There will be a vision screening on Monday and a hearing screening on Wednesday for all 7th-grade students. Our Storybook Pumpkin Contest judging is on Wednesday. Get your entries in on Monday and Tuesday! Also on Wednesday, our performing arts programs are entertaining us with a "Spooky Concert" during WIN, and D-Team football is at Ewing. On Thursday, you may wear costumes to school to celebrate Halloween but follow the dress-up rules. #LiveLearnLandrum

There are only two other rules: Your pumpkin must represent a character in a book (please include a copy of the book or book cover image with your submission) and do not cut, puncture, or carve your pumpkin.
