🍪🌍 Sweet adventures in Social Studies!
Mrs. Rotton's World Geography class took their knowledge of landforms to the next level — using cookies! Students “graphed” their cookies to identify features like mountains, valleys, plains, and plateaus, then explained their findings using proper geographic vocabulary. Who knew studying the Earth could be this tasty? 🌎🗺️ #LiveLearnLandrum #RespectExcellenceDetermination #WorldGeography #HandsOnLearning #FutureGeographers

Landrum Middle School was full of school spirit as our students repped their favorite colleges in style! Our students showed off a rainbow of collegiate pride! 💙❤️🧡💛❤️🖤💜🧡#LiveLearnLandrum #CollegeColorsDay

🚧✨ Future Engineers in Action! ✨🚧
Our 8th-grade scientists put their creativity and problem-solving skills to the test by building Paper Bridges! Using just paper, tape, and their imaginations, students explored the Engineering Design Process—from brainstorming and designing to testing and improving their structures. The challenge? Build a bridge that can hold the most weight using limited materials. 💡💪 The results were impressive, and the teamwork was even better! #LiveLearnLandrum #RespectExcellenceDetermination #FutureEngineers #MiddleSchoolScience #EngineeringDesignProcess #HandsOnLearning #PaperBridgeChallenge

Mrs. Farmer’s 6th-grade scientists turned bubble gum into a full-blown scientific investigation this week! 😄🧠 Students used the scientific method to explore how much sugar and artificial sweeteners are in gum. They made hypotheses, chewed for 10 minutes (all in the name of science!), recorded the mass before and after, and graphed their data to draw conclusions. 📊📝 Who knew learning about mass, data, and sugar content could be so sweet? 🍭 #LiveLearnLandrum #RespectExcellenceDetermination #6thGradeScience #ScientificMethod #HandsOnScience

🎓💙 College Colors Day is Coming! 💛🎓
Hey LMS students! Get ready to show your college spirit this Friday for College Colors Day! 🎉 Whether it’s your dream school, a family favorite, or a team you cheer for — wear your favorite college gear or rep their colors loud and proud! 🙌 Let’s flood the halls with college pride and get inspired for the future! 💡📚
📅 When: Friday, August 29th

Mrs. Ballentine's 6th-grade Social Studies class is on a mission — to break out of the Stone Age! 🚪🗝️ To escape, students must solve four challenging clues tied to daily life, survival, and innovation during prehistoric times. Only the most clever historians will uncover the secret 4-digit code and make it to the next era! 🧠⏳ History has never been this interactive — or this fun! #LiveLearnLandrum #RespectExcellenceDetermination #6thGradeSocialStudies #HandsOnHistory

🧪🫧 Bubble Science in Action!
Mrs. Hart's 7th-grade scientists put the scientific method to the test with a hands-on bubble lab! 🧠🔬 Students formed hypotheses, tested variables (like wand shape, soap mixtures, and air flow), and observed how each one affected bubble size and staying power. Who knew learning about variables could be so pop-tastic? 🧼✨ Real science, real thinking, real fun! #LiveLearnLandrum #RespectExcellenceDetermination #HandsOnScience #FutureScientists
