**Important Dates This Week**

**Tuesday, January 20 – Friday, January 23**
🍗 PTO Chick-fil-A Fundraiser (Pre-Sale)
PTO will be taking lunch orders in the gym before school. The lunch includes a sandwich, chips, and a cookie for $10.00. Canned drinks will be sold on handout day on Wednesday, January 28th.

**Thursday, January 22**
🏀 MMS Basketball vs. Campobello-Gramling School
Location: Chapman High School
Girls Game: 5:00 PM
Boys Game: Immediately following the girls’ game

**Upcoming Event: 8th Grade IGP Night**
Mabry Middle School will host an Individual Graduation Plan (IGP) Night for current 8th grade students and their families on Wednesday, January 28th, from 5:30 PM–6:30 PM in the MMS Cafeteria.

The purpose of this FREE event is to provide important information about the IGP process and allow families to sign up for their student’s individual IGP meeting. Families will hear from representatives from Chapman High School, Swofford Career Center, and the South Carolina Department of Employment and Workforce (SCDEW). Food and drinks will be provided for all who attend.

Parents and guardians planning to participate are encouraged to complete the registration form by Friday, January 23rd, to assist us with planning for seating, food, and materials. Please register using the QR code on the attached flyer.

Good afternoon 8th Grade Parents and Guardians,

Mabry Middle School will host an Individual Graduation Plan (IGP) Night for current 8th grade students and their families on Wednesday, January 28th, from 5:30 PM–6:30 PM in the MMS Cafeteria.

I hope that you and your families enjoyed a safe and restful Christmas break. As we prepare to begin the second semester, please review the following important dates and reminders.

- Staff Development Day (No school for students)

Tuesday, January 6
- Students return for the start of the second semester
- Student schedules will be distributed to all students Tuesday morning before school

Thursday, January 8
-MMS Basketball vs. Woodruff Middle School (@ Mabry) Girls’ game: 5:00 p.m.; Boys’ game: immediately following

Key Reminders

Parents of car riders, please ensure that your child arrives at school by 7:50 a.m., as the car rider gate will close at that time. This allows students adequate time to proceed through the weapons detection system and arrive to first period on time.

As we begin the second semester, please take a moment to review the following expectations with your child:
